Earthbound...System: SNES... Publisher: APE/Nintendo
This was the first RPG released for the SNES by Nintendo. Instead of having mid-evil type plots Earthbound features modern day towns and weapons such as Baseball bats and frying pans. The grapics aren't superb but the overhead look was nice. The plot and story line is very innovative. The contol is pretty simple, the left hand control option is a nice touch so one hand controls while the other reaches for the popcorn. The battle scene music is rockin'. The game will take you forever to beat, even with the players guide. Make sure you say goodbye to your family before you start playing because you'll be playing for a while. For RPG fans this game is a must.
