Ness lined up with Apple Kid, closed his eyes, and went into deep thought. Soon they sprinted down the street and disappeared. As Ness and Apple Kid came into view the noticed that Threed had nothing wrong with it.
"Look! Apple kid said excitiedly. "It's the shark truck in front of the hotel."
Oh no. I'm not following people though the door of that hotel again." Ness said.
(Ness then explained the story of the lady and zombies, then Jeff saving them.)
"This time well use a window." Ness said
Ness and Apple kid walked around to the back of the Hotel.
"Look theres an open window. It's up top." Ness said happily. "But how our we going to get up there?"
"I have just the thing Ness." said Apple Kid.
Apple Kid reached into his pocket and pulled out a small silver square with a red button.
"Watch." Apple Kid said. "I call it insta-ladder."
Apple Kid pressed the button and a 4 story high ladder popped out.
"Ingenious"..."Now hold the insta-ladder." Ness comanded. "I'm going up there."
Ness slowly climbed the insta-ladder and stopped at the second story window and peered in. Five guys dressed all in black were sitting at a table playing poker. Ness carfully pulled the window open just enough to hear their conversation.
"Boy, kidnapping Ness's little sister, what a great idea!" One man said.
"All right aces wild." said another. "Man when we post a ransom of 5 million dollars our money problems will be over!"
"Ha ha ha!" They all laughed.
Then Ness heard a new voice.
"You big meanies will never get away with this!" said a weak voice.
"Tracy!" Ness thought. Then he saw her tied to a chair against the back wall!
"I see Tracy in there." Ness wispered to Apple Kid.
"Wait! Some one else is sitting next to her!...I can't tell who it is." Ness said excitidly.
"Here look though these." Apple Kid insisted. "There my own home-maid night vision goggles!
Apple Kid tossed the night vision goggles up to Ness. Ness put them on and looked though the window again....Ness then dropped the goggles and they instantly broke on impact.
"Frank. Frank is sitting next to Tracy." Ness said.
"Why would the Sharks take your sister and their leader?" Apple Kid asked.
"Don't you see!" said Ness. Now climbing down the insta-ladder. As Apple Kid shoved the ladder back into it's silver container.
"The Shark gang didn't do it!" Ness said. "Back in Onett Frank was my first suspect. But he insisted that he didn't do it! And he said that some of his members said that one of the Shark trucks were stolen just that morning. The same morning that Tracy was kidnaped and that every one in Twoson disappeared!" Ness said.
"But where would they fit all those people?" Apple Kid asked.
"That's the scary part." Ness said. "They must have a secret lair some where...
